MESSI
Lionel Messi offered yet another reminder of his irrepressible genius on Sunday night, bending in a sensational free-kick from long range.

Such was the majesty of the strike in Barcelona`s 4-2 victory over Real Sociedad that scores of fans took to twitter to marvel at the five-time Ballon d`Or winner's effort.

Geronimo Rulli could only watch as the ball fizzed and dipped under the crossbar for Messi's 366th La Liga
The number is significant as it takes the 30-year-old past Gerd Muller's record for the most goals in a single top five European league.
The prolific German legend dominated the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich but his total has been surpassed and no doubt Messi will continue to break new ground.
His incredible achievement and the manner in which he set the new record had social media users salivating.
Gary Lineker reacted by saying Messi is playing a totally different sport to any other 'mortal'.
Another user referred to the free-kick as 'supernatural' and one fan joked that Barcelona should play with nine men to level the playing field.
Of course, there were a few Messi supporters who used his effort as the latest weapon to claim the striker is a better player than Cristiano Ronaldo.
One even claimed the debate should now be over, such is the continued brilliance of the man in comparison to a poor year for his Portuguese rival.
It was yet another memorable Messi goal and with plenty left in the tank, the records will surely continue to tumble, and plaudits continue to roll in for the deadly forward.
